Condobolin District Landcare is excited to host Neil McDonald, one of Australia’s most respected working dog and stockhandling educators (as seen on Muster Dogs), for a four-day Working Dog & Stockhandling School 27th-30th April 2026.

With decades of experience, Neil delivers practical, hands-on training that focuses first on people, then livestock, and finally dogs , the key to achieving calm, cooperative stock.

The school covers:

  • Low-stress livestock handling

  • Effective use of working dogs

  • Understanding livestock behaviour

  • Improving productivity and pasture management

  • Workplace safety and animal welfare

Participants leave with clear, transferable skills and the confidence to apply and on-teach these techniques at home.

Event Investment

The full course cost is $2,000 per participant.

However, Condobolin District Landcare has secured funding to subsidise participant fees, with additional funding applications currently pending.
