Mangoplah - AgriWomen Connect - Soil, Stock and Sustainability

Science, wellbeing and Natural Capital for women in Mangoplah

A great combination of science, wellbeing and Natural Capital. A wonderful workshop.

We learnt about:

  • How we can work less and earn more
  • How to assess your soil health
  • The benefits of Natural Capital and how it fits into farming systems
  • Why Squirrel Gliders surveys need to be conducted
  • Livestock productivity – how dairy and beef calves stack up against each other (Dairy do surprisingly well).

Thanks so much to Ginny Stevens for hosting a fantastic workshop and all the inspiring speakers. Carmon Quade, Dr Susan Orgill, Allie Maffei and Jane Quinn. Women have come such a long way in the Agricultural world. These women are true leaders in their field.
