Field Day in the Upper Hunter

Join us for a free field day in the Upper Hunter touring sites along the Hunter River planted with river red gums by Singleton landcarers and then visit previous projects at Lake Liddell with Lake Liddell Trust as our bimonthly Hunter Landcare gathering.

Program

Meet 9am Maitland Tourist Information cnr New England Highway & High St Maitland.

Car pool or mini bus (depending on numbers) to
Singleton.

10.30 Morning tea probably at Maccas.

Join Stephen Clarkson and Singleton representatives to hear about their planting of the Hunter River banks with river red gums and to tour their project.

12.00 Drive to Lake Liddell Recreation Area and work with Lake Liddell Trust planting lomandras on the lake edge before indulging in a BBQ lunch at 1pm and taking part in the general meeting which will update you on Landcare NSW Gateway and other developments.

3pm Drive to Maitland for 4.30pm.
