Nature Spotters: Syntropic Garden To
Our Nature Spotters had a tour of LeaderLife’s flourishing syntropic garden. What is syntropic gardening? A regenerative method of food production that mimics the forest through the use of dense plantings and recycling of nutrients. It also rebuilds soil and encourages biodiversity.
On show, were strawberries, citrus, ginger, garlic, pumpkin, rhubarb and asparagus. Participants experienced the way peanuts grow and had the chance to harvest and eat some. The session ended with participants propagating vegetable seedlings and pollinator attracting flowers to take home to their gardens!
