Biodiversity conservation agreements available in NSW

MLG Meeting 6 June Biodiversity conservation agreements available in NSW Dr David Freudenberger What: There are many different types of voluntary conservation agreements that a landholder can enter. Many agreement types are linked in perpetuity to land title and may include funding for on-going land management. Others like 'Wildlife Refuge Agreements' are not permanent. Most of these agreements are now managed by the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust and many can be entered into at any time. Who: Dr David Freudenberger is a Board Member of the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust appointed by the NSW Environment Minister. David is also a semi-retired senior lecturer at the Fenner School of Environment and Society, ANU. He's also had positions with the CSIRO and Greening Australia. David has great experience in many aspects of land management and restoration in Australia Where: the back room of the Murrumbateman Country Inn When: 7.00pm Thursday 6 June.
