Rabbit Biocontrol, Dr Tanja Strive, 7.30pm, Thursday 2 March

This is a very timely topic because the new strain of RHDV virus is about to be released. Dr Strive is Leader for the Host-Pathogens Interactions research team at CSIRO Health and Biosecurity. She has a research background in molecular biology, virology, and biological control of vertebrate pests. She is currently researching different caliciviruses in Australian wild rabbits, and their interactions with Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) with potential implementations for rabbit biocontrol.
