MLG NEWS FLASH - Our next MLG meeting is hands on

When - Sunday 25th March, 1.00 pm Where - Sue and Bob McColl’s place 1061 Tallagandra Lane Gundaroo. Come along and learn how to take cuttings from the native plants in our garden. Autumn is a good time to select suitable cutting material from a wide variety of garden plants that grow well in this district. We’ll prepare and pot them up ready for planting out in our gardens (hopefully in spring). You will learn about material selection, making suitable potting mixes for each stage of growth, hormone use and fertilisers for native plants. What to bring - garden snips or secateurs - half a dozen small plastic pots (8/10 cm diameter is good) - some small plastic labels (Bunnings). We’ll provide the potting mix and afternoon tea. RSVP please to: bob.mccoll.bm@gmail.com (and we’ll send directions to those of you that haven’t been here before). .
