Using Virtual Reality to see Country through a cultural lens: What is First Nations Due Diligence?

Presented by Rodney Freeman, Act. SNR Aboriginal Community Support Officer for

Local Land Services in the South East.

Participants have the opportunity to experience cultural learning and gain a deeper understanding of First Nations cultural due diligence, not just through traditional storytelling and connecting to Country, but also through a digital lens using virtual reality.

This unique workshop will help to provide a deeper meaning of caring for Country and show participants, such as landholders, volunteers and those working on Country, how to identify cultural artefacts and culturally significant sites.

Questions addressed: What are the culturally significant considerations of living and working on the land?

Participants will receive a due diligence checklist circulated at the workshop to follow along with and to take home.

Places are limited, so book in early!
