Alongside our local woodland, native grasslands are one of our region’s most endangered and valuable ecosystems. Often overlooked, they support rich biodiversity, improve soil health, and contribute to productive, resilient properties. This workshop will build practical skills and strengthen local connections to help us better understand and manage these special landscapes.
Working alongside Local Land Services, Friends of Grasslands and Landcare, and with facilitation from Dr Sonia Graham (University of Wollongong), the day will combine paddock-based learning with collaborative planning aimed at building a community around tackling landscape scale management of challenges such as weeds and bettering our native grassland and woodland ecosystems.
