Discover, Celebrate and Join Landcare Around the Region: Upper Shoalhaven Landcare Mini Muster and AGM
All members, local Landcare groups and interested newcomers are invited to attend Upper Shoalhaven Landcare Council’s annual gathering for 2025. The Mini-Muster and annual general meeting is on Friday 7th November 5:30-6:45pm at the Function Room of Braidwood Servicemen's Club in Braidwood.
The Upper Shoalhaven Landcare Council is the district network or umbrella group for all Landcare groups and members in the Upper Shoalhaven, Upper Deua and Lake George Catchment areas. Since its founding in 1995, USLC has focused on supporting Landcarers, as well as engaging and enhancing local communities to build and maintain landscapes with sustainable productivity alongside resilient biodiversity.
Discover what the district Landcare network has been up to this year and the projects on the horizon for 2026. Like last year, the AGM will be a ‘Mini-Muster’ inviting all local Landcare, Friends of Groups and our subcommittees to attend and hear what they’ve been up to. The district group values your input and feedback and look forward to seeing you and celebrating another year of Landcare achievements!
The AGM is also the perfect opportunity to get involved in shaping the future of Landcare in our region. Upper Shoalhaven Landcare are calling for new committee members to join and it's a great chance to work alongside other passionate Landcarers from across our district. This includes supporting projects like the new Nursery Hub at Dargues Gold Mine, Southern Tablelands Tree Start Growers Network and Landcare Enabling Program (which supports the Local Landcare Coordinator role), as well as keeping in touch with local Landcare groups in Bungendore, Braidwood, Bombay, Araluen, Snowball etc.
If you’re keen to contribute, we encourage you to join or come along to the Mini-Muster and AGM and bring your skills and ideas to support Landcare. Your contribution will make a real difference in guiding the district group, which has been working to support Landcare activities in our community for over 30 years.
Please RSVP for the AGM and/or send any nominations or enquiries to upper.shoalhaven@gmail.com, call Erin on 0473 407 079 or visit the website.
