Appletree Drive Bushcare work on remnant endangered Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest (STIF) that exists in the public reserve adjoining their unit complex and the Appletree Shopping Centre.
Part of their work is to restore a degraded strip of remnant STIF on the edge of the reserve to connect with the larger area of STIF around the scout hall on Appletree Drive, Cherrybrook. They also look after an area of STIF that was created on the public reserve next to the shopping centre as part of development approval of “The Pines” residential complex.
