Maitland Landcare Inc - Bolwarra Site
The Bolwarra Landcare site was established in 2022, at the John Wilkinson Sports Complex, Victoria Rd, Bolwarra. The group meets on the fourth Sunday of each month, 8.30 am for a bird walk and then 9.00 to 11.30 am for the working bee. We are working to establish and regenerate an area of bushland between the sports complex and Bolwarra Lagoon. Our bushland includes an area of Lower Hunter Spotted Gum Ironbark (an endangered ecological community) and Lower Hunter Dry Rainforest (a vulnerable ecological community).
