The increasing importance of the role that Sustainable/Regenerative Farming is playing in building soil carbon, improving levels of soil hydration, effecting carbon sequestration and building food security on our farms and in our communities, means that our farmers are looking for help in travelling down that path. Key outcomes from that journey are more healthy and productive landscape and a more healthy financial outcome.

The exact steps involved in the farmer's journey will depend on many variables, but the confidence to start down that track comes from knowing others are already embarked and that many have successfully completed it.

The role of this expo is to enable farmers to meet the organisations who have key role to play in helping the farmer and the farmer's community make the journey. It is suggested that the journey should be based on a Whole Farm Plan. These include:-

  • ANU Sustainable Farms Project - Building sustainable landscapes
  • Divalls - Farming earthworks
  • Farmers for Climate Action - Turning climate action into an advantage
  • Landcare - To connect you with other like-minded farmers, to help with farm planning, eco-agronomy services and to walk farmers on their journey
  • LLS SE - How LLS can support farmers making the journey to sustainable and profitable farming
  • NSW Farmers
  • Nutrisoil - Increasing soil biological and reducing farming inputs
  • Australian River Resource Centre - Riverine restoration and improvement to water catchment areas
  • Southern Cross University - Regenerative Agriculture Mentorship Program, see Landcare stand for more information
  • Tablelands Farming Systems (TFS) - A partner with the Southern Drought Hub
  • The Mulloon Institute - Landscape rehydration
  • TM Best Farming Systems - Increasing soil biology and reducing farming inputs
