Ettymalong Creek Landcare was established in 1994 to rehabilitate Ettymalong, Kahibah and Iluka Creeks, Kahibah and Iluka Lagoons and selected bushland reserves at Umina on the Central Coast. We continue to work on the same basis in 2024 and now see the results of this long term work in many areas. Our bushcare work concentrates on the area adjacent to Ettymalong billabong at Umina. We meet on site at the creek near the tennis courts on Umina Oval. To get there: go right to the end of Melbourne Ave, turn right into the car park and then to the end of the car park towards the creek. We meet every third Sunday of the month to do bush care work 8am -11am. Everyone is welcome to join us, on an intermittent, one off or regular basis. Tools and gloves supplied. Just wear sturdy shoes and sun protection.
