158 Union Street to Creek Mouth

This is the latest undertaking for our group. It has been going for about a year. The biggest task we have in this area is the clearing of Coral Trees. Not only do they infest the banks but because they are not a strong tree many of them end up in the creek itself causing major blockages. There are of course other exotics such as Madiera Vine, Asparagus fern, Privet, Mulberry Trees, Lantana etc. This project is getting close to completion with the last plantings being done and constant vigilance on the areas done to prevent Coral Trees returning as they are the most resilient plant I have worked with.
