Kyogle landcare is a grassroots organisation with the aims to encourage understanding of the natural environment, protect and assist enhancement of the natural environment and to encourage sustainability in agricultural practices.

Membership is $15 annually, but everyone is welcome to attend events. Landcare participates in regeneration on both private and public land in the urban or rural areas around Kyogle, educational workshops, seed propagation and the potting of seedlings for future transplanting and tree planting.

Grants are available to Landcare groups from various government and non-government agencies to help them undertake on-ground work. Many groups have been successful in obtaining grants, which help them to buy fencing materials, concrete, native plants, mulch, fertiliser, herbicides, employ bush regenerators etc.

Landcare holds workdays on the fourth  Saturday of each month and Tuesdays weekly - 9am until approximately 11am at the nursery located next to the tennis courts. Take the first right after the bridge over Fawcett’s Creek heading towards Wiangaree. Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear.
