Wellington Community Nursery Project
We were excited to be chosen in 2025 to deliver a Community Nursery Project thanks to Landcare Australia's Michael King Grants.
We partnered with the Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum to propagate local endemic plants for this project which will be ready for Spring planting.

2 Community Tree Giveaway Day's were held in October 2025 to distribute the trees for our Farm Tree Giveaway. Over 800 trees were distributed to 80 landholders across Wellington and Dubbo — including Grey Box, Drooping She Oak, Hairy Wattle, and Sticky Hopbush.
Propagated by the Friends of Burrendong Arboretum volunteers, these natives will replace aging paddock trees, fill windbreaks, and boost on-farm biodiversity in our region.
