From the mountain slopes to the riverine plains, the Murray region supports a rural economy as diverse as it’s landscape. The region’s agricultural production includes wool, cropping, fat cattle and sheep as well as tree nurseries, timber plantations and vineyards.

There are over 30 Landcare and producer groups that support volunteer activities. The community works hard to improve their local environment and the sustainability of agricultural production.
