Local tubestock a sell out for Watershed
Sales of native trees and shrubs proved to be a hit with visitors at the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days this year.
Watershed Landcare offered a selection of locally grown species, endemic to our area for sale as a fund raiser for the group.
The majority of the tubestock was sold during the field days with the remainder being snapped up by Watershed members.
“It's an indication that people want to enhance the native vegetation on their properties.” said botanist and Watershed Landcare secretary, Christine McRae.
“It was a very successful initiative, we'll definitely do it again next year.” she continued.
Watershed Landcare would like to thank Wollar Wholesale Nursery, Windy Hill Nursery, Blue Wren Bush Farm and Ulan Coal for their generous support with our fund raiser.
