I have worked as an Ecologist, mostly in the field of Landcare since 1995. I have been fortunate to have lived on the northern beaches of Sydney and amongst the wheat plains of the Hunter Valley, enjoying nature in a vast array of environments. I am also a Natural History Illustrator which has allowed me to combine the two fields, documenting flora and fauna in a different way.

My role as Regional Coordinator for the Hunter region is to:
* enhance and expand regional Landcare engagement with the community, Landcare organisations, government and industry, as part of a state-wide program.
* enable regional scale opportunities through planning, collaboration and project coordination with key stakeholders and partners.

I have always found Landcare to be a wonderful way of bringing people together to care for and preserve our natural environment, but it also builds on the strength and resilience of our communities. My wish is for Landcare across the country to grow and continue to provide a voice for healthy landscapes and healthy people.
