Based out of Old Bar, on the coast of Taree NSW, I hold the position of Regional Landcare Coordinator under the Mid Coast 2 Tops Landcare Connection banner. As a newly formed network, we encompass the existing networks of Manning Landcare, Karuah & Great Lakes Landcare and Manning Coastcare.

The region I support spans from Karuah river in the south, up to Crowdy Head in the north and inland to the Barrington Tops ranges.

As Regional Coordinator, my primary focus is on creating collaborations across the region and connecting groups and individuals with similar interests to pool resources and expertise.

I endeavour to work closely with each of my Local Landcare Coordinators as well as our neighbour regions to fill the knowledge gaps identified by the community and facilitate on-ground works across the Mid Coast Region.

Holding a Master of Conservation Biology and a Grad Cert in Climate Change and Sustainability, my expertise lays in ecosystem functioning management and wildlife ecology, with a specific interest in marine conservation.

Outside of Landcare, my other hat is as an Academic in the School of Environmental Sciences at Charles Sturt University. The intersection of these two roles often affords me the opportunity to act as a link between my networks of academics and landholders; something I believe is of great value in both spheres.

I am always happy to provide advice on issues of biodiversity conservation or offer connections across my network for expertise on agricultural matters.
