Landcare Enabling Program Logic

The Landcare Enabling Program logic is a visual way of representing how planned activities will lead to expected outcomes and the steps to achieving them.

LEP objectives:

  • Improve capacity: improve the efficiency of resourcing models so that Landcarers can focus more on delivering meaningful work to meet local, regional and state priorities.
  • Expand capability: provide more opportunities to partner, share knowledge and expand and sustain skills so that Landcarers can do more effective work for improved outcomes.
  • Support self-sustenance: foster innovative resourcing strategies to enable a resilient and adaptive organisation that allows Landcarers to continue their vital work in the longer-term.

These objectives are delivered through key program elements and associated activities detailed in the Program logic prepared by the Natural Resources Commission. It illustrates how planned activities and outputs will lead to intended outcomes at short (1-2 years), intermediate (3-4 years), end-of-program (5 years) and longer-term time periods.

This also includes how the coming Phase 3 grant programs work towards these outcomes.
