September 16 Saturday

16 Sep, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

National Tree Day planting this Saturday at Lake Pillans. When: 10:00am - 12:00pm Saturday 16 September Where: Lake Pillans Wetland (come to Blast furnace carpark and look for the tent) The National Tree Day event is held in many places in Australia in July. In Lithgow, we decided (sensibly!) to wait until the weather was a little warmer. I hope you will come along to celebrate National Tree Day and the start of spring with us. Efforts for the day will support ongoing revegetation works around Lake Pillans Wetland, which is an important site for birds and wildlife in the area, and will go towards the National Tree Day planting count. Come along and make a difference and help to enhance our natural environment by planting some native plants at this family friendly event. See you there!
