Bushcare at Dr Charles McKay Reserve, Mt Druitt

The group meets on a monthly basis to do bush care work in the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland found at the reserve. The reserve contains a great diversity of plants, some of which are listed as endangered or threatened and the bushland provides important habitat for local wildlife. The work involves bush regeneration such as weed removal and occasional planting. Council provides supervision, training, plants, tools, and information on grants and other special projects. All welcome. We are COVID Safe.
