'Gundillawah’

Pete & Bundle Lawson

Pete and Bundle Lawson grew up on farms with a lot of family history behind them. They now run both family properties: Gundillawah in the Mundarlo valley and Trewalla at Book Book. After finishing their tertiary education they studied Holistic Management in separate courses in 1996 and 2001 and then  followed up in 2008 with another course done jointly.  This final course reaffirmed that HM was the way they wanted to farm. They run a sheep (merino) and cattle self replacing breeding operation and are in the process of subdividing paddocks having improved the water infrastructure over the past  few years.  They have been running ‘Gundillawah’ for 5 years now.  It is Bundle's family property.

‘Mundarlo’

Nick & Deanna Austin

Nick & wife Deanna with their two children Ellie (14yr) and Harry (12yr) run ‘Mundarlo’, a 1400ha property situated on the Murrumbidgee river, 50km east of Wagga Wagga.  Since 2010, they have been managing ‘Mundarlo’ under Holistic Management principles.  Last year, due to the dry conditions, they sold their breeding herd leaving only their cattle trading enterprise.  This year they have stepped into the unknown and supplemented the cattle trading with sheep trading.

They also own and operate Body Compass Health, an allied health centre in Wagga Wagga.
