Braidwood Urban Landcare Group focusses on environmental and outdoor recreational improvements in the township of Braidwood.

Braidwood Urban Landcare Group was formed in 1997. Since that time we have focussed our efforts on environmental and outdoor recreational improvements in the township of Braidwood. We have completed a number of important projects including coordination and work to create both Bicentennial Park and the Flood Creek Community Recreation Precinct. We have been working since 2009 to establish the Flood Creek Footpath and Footbridge, along with the Judith Wright Gardens, and Braidwood Community Gardens on Bombay Rd. We are proud of our great record of working with community members and other groups within Braidwood. To date, we have attracted funding and other support from a wide range of business and government sources to improve our local environment. As a group, we take great pride in seeing our projects enthusiastically embraced and used by the Braidwood community and visitors to our beautiful town.
