Slaters Creek Riparian Restoration
Restoring the riparian zone of Slaters Creek, North Lismore.
The project site lies on the riparian zone of Slaters Creek, just near the Lismore Showgrounds. It connects the recent plantings and restoration works of North Lismore Landcare, Wetlandcare and Lismore Council to the work area of Banyam Baigham Landcare, and is in dire need of some native plants! The area is a significant site for the Widjabul/Wyabul people, and an important refuge for wildlife in the urban surrounds of Lismore.
