Large bird orchid (Simpliglottis valida)

Each year, Carwoola Landcare holds a wildflower walk at various locations in Carwoola. In 2012, the walk was held in Cuumbeun Nature Reserve. Here is one of the orchids we found: Simpliglottis valida A colony of large bird orchid covered an area of a couple of square metres. Photo: Emma Clifton
