2020 - Biodiversity Conservation Trust - Conservation Partners Grant
This Biodiversity Conservation Trust recognises the important role that owners like ourselves play in protecting and conserving biodiversity. This Grant is to provide financial assistance to actively protect or improve the ecological value of our property.
The money for this grant is used for weed control. Our Endangered Ecological Community has a native seed bank and that is suppressed by invasive weeds. As we remove the invasive weeds, the seed bank is allowed to grow into the beautiful native vegetation that we have today. We aim to continue this work and as a result, grow our forest and continue to offer habitat to our native birds and wildlife.
