Weeding project for 3 hectare Lowland Rainforest on a Floodplain within Forest Grove Estate
After becoming successful in attaining a grant from the Northern Rivers Catchment Management Authority, Forest Grove Neighbourhood Association hired Bushland Restoration Services (BRS) to remove the infestation of weeds in our Endangered Ecological Community (EEC). Our EEC was damaged by saltwater inundation.
The weeding has now been completed by BRS and Forest Grove Landcare is now in the course of a 5 year maintenance program. Our site is habitat to many birds, reptiles and mammals.
