The Group conducted its AGM on 7 November 2015 in conjunction with our regular monthly propagation session. The session was well attended. We potted up nearly 600 local native plants.

Meanwhile, Kathy Handel, Group Hon. Secretary/Treasurer, supported by Convenor Geoff Butler, efficiently conducted the AGM. The following 2015-16 Office Bearers and General Committee members were elected:

Committee members:  Kathy Cook, Jennie Curtis, Anne Gardner, Jan Gough-Watson, Brian Higgisson, David McDonald, Noela McDonald, and Jacquie O’Leary.

Members noted with sadness the recent passing of our former co-convenor, Roger Good, who was a leader of our Group for many years. His generosity in sharing his botanical and broader scientific expertise with members was acknowledged with gratitude. The Group resolved to make a donation to a suitable cause in Roger's memory.

All agreed that the year just completed has been a highly productive one. We have made excellent progress towards achieving our goals of enhancing biodiversity in Western Palerang.
