Our Goals: Caring for the Tucki Tucki Creek at the Birdwing Butterfly Park area in Goonellabah. Enhance the area along Upper Tucki Tucki Creek and Richmond Birdwing Butterfly Park by returning it to a native rainforest corridor for the enjoyment of the general public and local community.

We meet on the last weekend of the month, usually on a Sat morning, working on Tucki Tucki Creek park from  the Kadina St area.

The work is usually from 8.30am on last Saturday of the month (though small groups do other work during the week) - it is for volunteers to do an hour, or two, or more - just what suits you the best.

Our main focus is on new plantings and looking after previous plantings with bush regeneration in the area. We also do cutbacks of not natives to make space available of native replanting. This will enhance the area along upper Tucki Tucki Creek and the Goonellabah Birdwing Butterfly Park by returning it to a native rainforest corridor for the enjoyment of the general public and local community and providing living areas for native plants and wildlife.

There are currently no fees for being a member.

We are funded by Lismore City Council and liaise with the Council.

Goonellabah Tucki Creek Landcare have been going for well over 10 years. We have over 6 sites along the creek at the moment to be working at.

We are very family friendly!
