Greater Sydney Landcare Network is partnering with Landcare NSW and Department of Planning, Industry and Environment to plant thousands of trees to expand the city's green canopy.
The NSW Government has signed contract with Landcare NSW for 100,000 trees to be planted across Greater Sydney, with a focus on Western Sydney.
The trees with provide relief from urban heat, increase biodiversity and contribute to habitat for wildlife.
