Platypus Landcare in the Hills - Working Bee

Every month Landcare groups meet at a scheduled property to conduct routine weed control, water testing and macro-invertebrate testing using a Water Bug Blitz kit. Eventually chipping away at the pesky weeds, working together to regenerate habitat one working bee at a time!

Platypus Landcare in the Hills - Working Bee
Thank you to all who attended our recent working bee held at a Land For Wildlife property in Annangrove on Friday the 4th of October.
We spent this lovely morning getting our hands dirty doing some woody weed removal, followed by handmade muffins for morning tea and water bug testing!
Some of the weed species removed on the day:
- Pheonix palm
- Small-leaved privet
- Lantana
- Purple Periwinkle
A special thank you to the Hills Shire Council and Cattai Hills Environment Network for supporting this Landcare group.
