What a beautiful morning it was on Saturday 29thJune.
Plenty of sunshine, gentle breeze and a great view over the ocean (if you weren't looking at the Bitou)!
The Bitou Busters cleared the bitou bush from amongst the Wattle on the beach and are working on the tough old clumps that will take some time to clear.
It was hard work, but 17 great volunteers make such a huge difference in a short time.
The next area to clear is adjacent to where the work has been taking place with more easily accessible weeds so don’t be put off by the difficulty of this site. There is something for everyone!
Always more Pigface to plant as well.
