We have been invited along to a 'Littoral Rainforest Walk & Talk' on Friday 5 December.

The 'Walk & Talk' commences at One Mile Beach Surf Club, Forster at 9.30am and takes in the coastal littoral and dry rainforest along Burgess Beach and concludes near Cape Hawke - Booti Booti National Park, which is home to one of the largest littoral rainforest remnants in NSW. In recent years, a great deal of work has been undertaken to protect and restore these coastal areas that have significant aboriginal cultural heritage as well as valuable rainforests - all of which are under pressure from weed invasion, burning, erosion, clearing and storm water runoff.
