Steve Howard from Great Lakes Council has suggested a Friday working bee at Bennetts Beach with some dune carers from other areas to help us with some planting and weeding.

This will be a great opportunity to make a difference to this iconic lookout at Hawks Nest near the surf club that often looks a bit neglected.

The Council will be supplying morning tea and a BBQ lunch for all involved.

This will be a great opportunity to showcase our area to a group of volunteers from further north.

The date is to be finalised and of course it is weather permitting but we are hoping for mid to late June or July.
