Great Lakes Council invited Volunteers from all over the council area to a morning tea at the Tea Gardens District Office, on Wednesday 10 December.

“We couldn’t do it without you” said the Great Lakes Council to around fifty volunteers at the morning tea.

Mr Glenn Handford, GLC General manager, Steve Howard GLC Community liaison Officer, Councillor Len Roberts (Deputy Mayor) and Councillor Carol McCaskie were there praising everyone for their dedication and hard work.

Councilor Roberts said the GLC would be broke by now if all the work done by the volunteers were paid for!
