Protecting our Bush and Beaches

Bitou Busters Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens

We are a enthusiastic group of between 20-30 volunteers.
Great Lakes Council supports us and organises inductions, tools, gloves and hi-viz vests.
We work in urban bushland, on sand dunes, recreation areas and beside walking tracks and waterways.
As the area is surrounded on three sides by ocean, bay and river, weed eradication is achievable.
We meet every fourth Saturday of the month from March to October to Bitou Bust, with a debriefing over coffee at a local café.
