Burwood Beach littoral rainforest weeding and beach clean-up
After pancakes and listening to Tim talk about the local restoration works, 40 attendees spent 2 hours weeding and doing a beach cleanup on the dunes. The group consisted of multiple generations, from children to seniors.
Nikki Brown from Wildcraft Australia then shared some of her survival knowledge including cordage and fire by friction.
This event took place on September 2016 and Intrepid Landcare have promoted and been present at two subsequent planting days in May and June 2017.
