Since the early 1990s there has been a growing, if not and accelerating, awareness of the location, extent, structure, ecology, function, soil and species (plants, vertebrates and invertebrates, soils and biota) of grasslands and a deepening appreciation of their beauty and diversity. Added to this, there is an optimism that existing grassland remnants can be extended and restored to create greater functionality and diversity.

The forum is open to the public, is free and will include a light lunch and morning tea.

Presenters will include organisations and individuals working in grasslands across the south-east region who will share and celebrate efforts on the front line of grassland conservation and talk about next steps.
