Vale of Clwydd Community Tree Planting - Your local Landcare group needs your help The Vale of Clwydd community planting day has become an annual event. This year we aim to plant 500 native plants to improve bank stability, downstream water quality and habitat values. Our objective is to replace the weeds infesting the area with a mix of native wetland species. Our creeks are essential to provide habitat and corridors for the birds and wildlife - they also help to make it nice place for people to live! The community planting day is supported by Lithgow Oberon Landcare Association, Lithgow City Council and Local Land Services. All community members are invited to come along to show we care about our local creek and to plant some native plants followed by a sausage sizzle lunch.
