Maclean Landcare Group Inc. is proud to be launching a local forest conservation project on Wednesday 8th October, 10:30am, at 97a Wharf St, Maclean.
Maclean Landcare have received a NSW Environmental Trust Grant to fund the project, in collaboration with Clarence Valley Council, Yaegl Local Aboriginal Land Council, private landowners and contractors.
Ongoing work on the Lookout Reserve includes volunteers, council and contractors, and this project involves systematic bush regeneration on adjoining private land over 3 years to reduce weed impacts, benefit fauna, and improve habitat connections.
All are welcome to come and enjoy a morning tea, view maps of the Forest Corridor and learn more about the project. Volunteers for bush regeneration are always welcome.
This project has been assisted by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.
