Manning Coastcare Group
Manning Coastcare works in the coastal are between Crowdy Head in the north (near Harrington) and Black Head in the south (near Hallidays Point and Forster). The closest large town is Taree but it is not part of our work area (see Manning Landcare). Activities are undertaken by both volunteers and contractors. Volunteer groups are centred on Harrington, Manning Point, Old Bar, Wallabi Point and Hallidays Point (Black head and Diamond Beach - Seascapes). Our focus is the littoral rainforest areas but we also work on the dunes and creeklines.
