The issue
Farmers for Climate Action partnered with Manning Landcare co-ordinator to facilitate a healthy soils workshop in the Manning region.
The solution
After discussions with local Landcare groups Manning Landcare selected the venue at the rural locality of Wherrol Flat.
In consultation with Farmers for Climate Action we promoted the event, managed the bookings, handled logistics and provided support on the day.
It was a wonderful opportunity for people to hear presenter Kristy Youman, from Soil Land and Food, speak on soil health, recovery after natural disasters and promoting infiltration.
The impact
Attendees were overwhelming positive about the content of the presentation and the social interaction activities provided.
