Learn which weeds you can eat, including tips on how to ID them, and how to use them in cooking and salads.
This is an easy, short walk along the river led by Mid Macquarie Landcare Coordinator Bron Powell.
All ages welcome.
We will cover all the weeds in the first hour; then there is the option to stay till 6pm and practice your ID skills.
When: Wednesday June 11, 4.30-5.30 (or 6pm for those that want to keep going - bring a torch!).
Where: Ian Drake Drive, Dubbo (the road that comes off Bligh Street and goes under LH Ford Bridge and links up with Sandy Beach Rd).
Meet near where the road dips down into an open-channel stormwater course.

What to bring:
- Bag to carry the weeds you collect
- 1L water with a couple of dashes of vinegar in it if you want to sample some weeds on the tour (wash them first with this water)
- Pen if you want to write notes on the info sheet that will be provided
