Mid Macquarie Landcare Inc in partnership with Burrendong Botanic Garden and Arboretum are excited to be propagating native tubestock to deliver to Landholders and the Wellington Community via an expression of interest later this year.

There are 4 varieties of trees available, including paddock trees and trees suitable for urban backyards.

- Allocasuarina verticillata (Drooping She Oak)
- Eucalyptus microcarpa (Grey Box)
- Acacia vestitata (Hairy Wattle) (great for screening and gardens)
- Dodonaea viscosa (subspecies tba) (Sticky Hopbush)

Landowners will be able to receive 10 trees per property, and may indicate their preferred species via an expression of interest. Mid Macquarie Landcare Inc will aim to distribute according to preferences.

Urban residents will be able to collect trees at a Community Tree Giveaway, details to be confirmed.

Keep an eye on the Mid Macquarie Landcare Facebook page for more information on both farm tree EOI's and the Community Tree Giveaway..

This project has been made possible by funding from the Michael King Community Nursery Grant
