WANTED: Saline Sites
A partnership project with Mid Macquarie Landcare, Little River Landcare, Three Rivers Landcare, Watershed Landcare and Central Tablelands Landcare scope out the extent and severity of salinity across the central west and tablelands.
After 3 consecutive wet years, the Salinity issue has once again raised it's ugly head.
Landcare wants to know how saline sites are impacting famers around Narromine and Wellington.
If you have a bare patch/ wet area of concern on your property, Landcare can visit your farm, assess the site, and make management recommendations.
Recommendations consider the past & current management of the site, in conjunction with its geological landscape and physical soil/water tests taken on site.
