Restoring native vegetation and fauna habitat
We work here on the third Thursday morning and the second Saturday morning of each month.
Work: Planting tubestock and weeding. Our main weeds are: Gazania, Ground Asparagus Fern, Coastal Morning Glory, Lantana. Since we started in 2004 on a small patch of these extensive dunes, we've made progress. We co-ordinate our work with that of contractors engaged by Pittwater Council. Birds include breeding Lewin's Rail, Eastern Whipbird and Superb Wren.
