On-ground action to regenerate Nabiac's precious bushland remnants
We have been functioning since 1994. Projects include rehabilitation of Bullock Wharf reserve (1.5km strip of bush along the Wallamba River Nabiac) and the regeneration of Woosters Creek wetland in another public reserve. This is planned in three stages beginning with Lilly Pilly Bend (a place of great natural beauty of regional significance, featuring ancient Lilly Pilly trees canopying over the Creek). We work Wednesdays - 8 or 9 to 11 am followed by morning tea.
Membership is $5 per year. MidCoast Council trains, supports and supplies tools and other essentials, and Karuah & Great Lakes Landcare supports us with field days, this website and promotion.
